Our favourite social media platform  have 800million active monthly users and you are one of them. Don’t you think that many people has got fame from instagram. You might have thought about going viral on instagram. But if you think that only celebrities are famous on instagram, then you are wrong. Yes, you also can be as famous as your favourite artist on IG.

 We all spend most of our time on instagram app, but this app is more useful than scrolling the feed, reading memes, liking posts.

Are you not happy with less no of your “followers”? Are you  getting less no of “likes”? Do you enviously wonder how your favouriye accounts got so big?

 Lets get started:

1.Review your account.

If you wants to find out why your posts are not going viral in instagram, then see what mistakes you did in your earlier posts. Do some research with your favourite accounts. See how they manage their feed.The most important factor for an influencer that its account should look like a professional account. First impression is the last impression, so make your feed attractive. Manage your posts properly. This can be achieved by certain color palette(white, pastels or dark earth tones). On play store or app store you can download many preview apps. I recommend you PLANN app. There are some IG tools also, where you can manage your posts before uploading it. While looking into through profiles, take note on what they use  as far as  hashtag, how do they engage with their followers and even how frequently they are posting.

2. Go for quality

With proper editing you can make your photo looking awesome. There are thousands of apps for photo editing, but for instagram editing- Lightroom CC, Snapseed, VSCO, A color story.

3. Use trending hashtags.

Your photo has been editied and you also have previewed it, alright, the next step is how to upload it. You can simply upload it with doing any other instagram feature. But here is the mistake we mostly do.

If you use #hello#friends#whatsup This can help you a lot.

Ig allow you to choose 30 hashtags, but its better to use 10-15 hashtags in a post which are extremely relevant to your post. You can hashtag the photo with location your name or with the device youy clicked the photo. But my opinion is you must use trending hashtags. Like if movie is going to release within a days or it is released in 5-10 dys earlier, then obviously it is trending on social media then you can use its hashtag. #moviename.

But it looks like lengthy and time consuming, don’t worry. There are many 3^rd party apps offer you the trending hashtags. My favourite is Focalmark. You just have to copy paste.

 

4. Posts videos rather than photos

As we know there are millions users of IG and they posts in countless everyday. So dont get mixed with them. You will be surprised to know that more than  70% of posts on Ig are photos. So if post your videos rather than photo, Ig promote it to explore page.

And as you know, videos go more viral than photos.

5. Build engagement

Engagement is allowing your followers base to come to know you(or at least a version of you). Consider telling a story or anecdote in the instgram caption. If you are travelling abroad or staying local the engagement via local community can be quite beneficial. Through geotags and localized hashtags, engage with the community around you.

The frequency of posting also matters.

6. Things  you should avoid.

Don’t buy bot followers and likes. Don’t act like a spammer. Be original, don’t copy anyone styles or their posts. Also keep in mind the community standards. Don’t post anything which you think can go against community standards of instagram
